Software engineer

Fadi Badarni

Six products, one engineer. I designed and built everything below alone, and I still run all of it — the frontends, the Java and Python services behind them, the cloud underneath, the uptime, the support inbox.

A résumé asks you to take its word. This page doesn't: every name below is a link, and every link opens something live with real users, working in Arabic, Hebrew, and English.

What I built and run

  • 2025

    Prime Psychometric

    Sole engineer, for Infinity Institute

    • One platform, five services: a Spring Boot core behind a FastAPI gateway, four Python services doing the specialised work
    • The question bank grows itself — an AI factory writing and grading across OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google models
    • A live 1v1 arena with ELO ranking, matchmaking, and anti-cheat
    • Timed simulations scored to the official exam's standard; Primo, the tutor, explains every answer in Arabic

    Next.js · TypeScript · PostgreSQL · AI grading

  • 2026

    Infinity Amirnet

The second platform I run for Infinity Institute

    • Every Amirnet question type — from targeted drills up to full timed simulations
    • Primo again: the AI tutor students talk to in Arabic
    • The whole platform aims at one number — the English exemption at 134

    Next.js · TypeScript · AI grading

  • 2026

    Infinity Institute

The storefront for the client above

    • Programs from the psychometric to Amirnet, across seventeen branches
    • Sign-up goes straight to WhatsApp instead of a contact form
  • 2026

    Prime Menus

My own product: I founded it, built it, and sell it

    • Multi-tenant core, one subdomain per restaurant
    • Menus arrive as photos or PDFs; AI reads them, cleans the images, builds the menu
    • Analytics with no cookies and no banners — device fingerprinting instead
    • Arabic, Hebrew, and English from day one

    Next.js · Supabase · Multi-tenant

  • 2026

    MoviGo

My own app, on the App Store — I run the data pipeline behind it too

    • Showtimes, branch distance, and live seat occupancy across five cinema chains, in one free app
    • The occupancy is real — read from the chains' own systems while you look
    • No accounts, and location never leaves the phone

React Native · Live cinema data · 5 cinema chains

  • 2025

    Elyael

Built for Machon Sarah, running since 2024

    • Subscriptions with JWT auth, two-factor, and automated payments
    • AWS underneath — S3, SES, RDS — deployed with Docker
    • Practice in the exam's own format, with an explanation for every answer

    Next.js · TypeScript · PostgreSQL · AI grading

Experience & education

  1. 2023 — Present

Freelance software engineer · Prime Systems

The studio; the list above is its output. One person doing the jobs of a small agency — scoping, design, code, cloud, support, and the invoices.

  2. 2023

    Frontend developer intern · Bridgify

Led the move to Material-UI and the design system that came with it; performance and responsive-design work.

  3. 2023

    Frontend developer intern · Noviopus

Redux architecture and component refactors, plus the unglamorous work: cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.

  4. 2020 — 2024

BSc, Software Engineering · Shamoon College of Engineering

Algorithms, architecture, databases, systems — the foundations under everything above.
